Archangel Michael

The archangel (or chief angel) Michael is a real angel, mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. In the book of Revelation, Michael is the leader of the angel army that defeats Satan and hurls him to earth. (Revelation 12:7-9) In Daniel 12:1, Michael is called "the great prince who protects your people." On this figurine, Christ's power is represented by the sword with a cross and a lion and lamb handle. Jesus is called both a Lion and a Lamb in Revelation (verses 5:5-6). For any person who struggles with fear, Michael is a vivid reminder of the power and protection of God.
